Cuenta con 1 puerto full duplex de Fibra Optica Plástica y 3 RJ45. Puede situarse como punto inicial o final de en una instalación. Como punto final permite la conexión simultánea de 3 dispositivos vía ethernet entregando el 100% de la velocidad del punto original. Los datos se transmiten a través de fibra óptica plástica “POF” sin pérdidas garantizadas hasta los 50 metros y una velocidad de transmisión máxima 1000 Mbps. El equipo viene provisto de su propia fuente y cable de alimentación.

Fibra óptica de plástico

La fibra óptica de plástico tiene grandes ventajas sobre fibras de vidrio o los cables ethernet, las principales son su alto grado de flexibilidad, peso ligero y resistencia a las interferencias electromagnéticas. Además, estas fibras pueden desplegarse de manera fácil y universal utilizando cualquier canalización existente respetando el Reglamento de Infraestructuras de Telecomunicaciones ICT2.

Fácil instalación

La fibra óptica plástica tiene solo 2,2 mm de espesor. Los cables POF pueden instalarse muy fácilmente en tuberías existentes con otros cables eléctricos, telefónicos o de TV. La longitud de los cables POF se puede adaptar con un simple corte. Después de tender el cable POF, los dos extremos del cable se cortan con la herramienta de corte y se insertan en el convertidor ACT 1003. Después de eso, tendrá disponible una conexión de red Gigabit sin necesidad de instalar cables ethernet de manera prohibida, peligrosa y de manera antiestética.
