Real fiber in two areas of your home, with room to keep expanding. Bring the connection from the router to a first point and extend it from there to a second. Ideal for two-story homes or medium-sized homes where WiFi doesn’t reach everywhere properly.

2 covered zones 1 Gbps real speed with no losses Expandable system
1 Gbps real speed, with no losses
Up to 3 Ethernet ports per point
Up to 50 m per run
Flexible configuration according to your home

How it works

The ACT1001 connects to the router and starts the plastic optical fiber network. From there, the signal reaches the ACT2003, a converter with 3 Ethernet ports and a second POF port that allows the cabling to continue to the ACT1003, the installation’s second point. This covers two areas of your home with real fiber, allowing you to choose the layout that best suits your home: in a line (one area after another) or by placing each converter wherever it is most convenient for you.

Is this kit right for you?

Yes, if...

  • You need to bring internet to two different areas of your home
  • You live in a two-story or medium-to-large home
  • You want an installation that you can expand later
  • WiFi or PLC doesn’t reach one of the areas of your home properly

Choose another kit if...

  • You only need to cover 1 zone → Kit Básico
  • You need more than 2 zones or more ports per point → Kit Dúplex
  • You’re only going to connect 1 device at the destination → Kit Single 1 Gbps

What’s included in the kit

  • 1 Snap Data POF converter ACT1001 (source: 1 POF + 1 Ethernet)
  • 1 Snap Data POF converter ACT2003 (intermediate point: 2 POF + 3 Ethernet)
  • 1 Snap Data POF converter ACT1003 (endpoint: 1 POF + 3 Ethernet)
  • 3 universal USB power adapters (100–240 V → 5 V 2 A)
  • Plastic optical fiber (POF) cut to the length you choose for each run
  • 3 CAT6 UTP network cables
  • POF fiber cutter
  • Step-by-step installation manual

Everything you need for a complete, expandable installation. You don't need to buy anything else.

How to install it in 4 steps

1
Connect to the router Plug the ACT1001 into the router using the included Ethernet cable.
2
Position the ACT2003 Run the fiber to the first area and connect the ACT2003, with 3 Ethernet outputs.
3
Extend to the ACT1003 From the second POF port of the ACT2003, continue the fiber to the second area.
4
Plug in your equipment Connect devices via Ethernet at each of the two points.

Average time: ~1–2 hours. No special tools required. The fiber cutter is included in the kit.

Important before connecting Remove the dust protectors from the optical connectors as soon as the equipment is connected to power, even if you are not going to use that port yet.

Frequently asked questions

How is it different from the Kit Dúplex?
The Kit Dúplex Lite is the entry-level version for covering 2 zones: it uses an ACT1001 at the source with a single Ethernet port. If you need more ports next to the router or want to cover more zones, the Kit Dúplex may be a better fit for your situation.
How do I choose between installing them in a line or distributing the points?
It depends on your home’s layout. The ACT2003 receives the fiber connection from the router and simultaneously continues the cabling to the second point, so you can position both converters along the route that best suits your rooms, one after the other or in different directions from the intermediate point.
Do I lose speed compared with my router’s speed?
No. Each segment maintains 100% of your router’s speed up to 50 meters. If your fiber connection is 600 Mbps, you receive a real 600 Mbps at both points, without the typical loss associated with WiFi or PLC.
Why should I remove the anti-dust protectors?
The protectors are only for transport. Once the converter is connected to power, remove them even if you are not going to use that port at that moment, to prevent heat or moisture from accumulating in the connector.
Does it work inside my existing electrical conduit?
Yes. The POF cable is 2.2 mm in diameter, much thinner than an Ethernet cable, and flexible. It easily passes through the same conduits already used by your electrical or telephone installation.
Is it difficult to install if I’m not a technician?
No. Installation is progressive: first the intermediate point, then the final point. The kit includes a fiber cutter and a step-by-step manual. If you get stuck, write to us and the Actelser technical team will guide you.
Can I expand to more zones later?
Yes. It’s a modular, expandable system: we have expansion packs with compatible additional converters (ACT1001, ACT1003, ACT4001, ACT1002) so you can keep adding points in the future.
What if it doesn’t work in my situation?
You have 14 days to return it. And if you have any questions before buying, write to us: we’ll confirm whether your situation is compatible before you pay anything.

Funciona 100%
