Real fiber in up to 5 areas of your home at the same time. A switch distributes your router connection via plastic optical fiber to multiple points, and each one provides up to 3 Ethernet outputs. It is the closest thing to wiring your entire home without construction work.

Up to 5 connection points Real 1 Gbps at every point The most complete kit in the range
1 Gbps real speed, with no losses
Central switch ACT4001 included
Up to 50 m per line
Modular system, expandable in the future

How it works

The heart of the kit is the ACT4001 POF switch: it connects to the router via Ethernet and distributes the signal across 4 independent plastic optical fiber lines. Three of these lines go directly to an ACT1003 converter (3 Ethernet outputs each). The fourth passes through the ACT2003 converter, which, in addition to providing its own 3 Ethernet outputs, has a second POF port to continue the fiber to a fifth point with another ACT1003. This lets you cover up to 5 zones in your home, all with real fiber and without relying on WiFi.

Snap Data Kit Premium installation layout: router connected to the POF ACT4001 switch, which distributes 4 plastic optical fiber lines to 3 ACT1003 converters and one ACT2003 converter, the latter extending the fiber to a fifth point with Ethernet

Installation layout: 1 central switch, up to 5 output points

Is this kit right for you?

Yes, if...

  • You have a large home, a duplex, or multiple floors
  • You need to cover 4 or 5 different zones with real fiber
  • There are several demanding users or devices connected at the same time
  • You want the most complete solution, without relying on WiFi anywhere

Another kit may be better if...

  • You only need to cover 2 zones → Kit Dúplex
  • You want to cover 3–4 zones without reaching the 4-output switch → Kit Gold
  • You only need 1 point with several devices → Kit Básico

What the kit includes

  • 1 Snap Data POF switch ACT4001 (4 POF outputs + 1 Ethernet input)
  • 4 Snap Data POF converters ACT1003 (1 POF + 3 Ethernet each)
  • 1 Snap Data POF converter ACT2003 (2 POF + 3 Ethernet, with fiber pass-through to extend to a 5th point)
  • Plastic optical fiber (POF) in the length you choose for each line
  • 6 CAT6 UTP network cables
  • 2 POF fiber cutters
  • Power supplies for the switch and each converter
  • Step-by-step installation manual

Everything you need to create a complete network throughout your home. You don't need to buy anything else.

How to install it in 5 steps

1
Connect the switch Plug the ACT4001 into the router with an Ethernet cable.
2
Lay the fibers Run each POF line through the electrical conduit to its destination zone.
3
Place the ACT1003 units Connect the 3-output converters in each direct zone.
4
Place the ACT2003 Install it wherever you want an extra point and, if needed, continue the fiber to a 5th point.
5
Plug in your devices Connect up to 3 devices via Ethernet at each point in your home.

Average time: 2–3 hours for the entire installation. No special tools required. Fiber cutters are included in the kit.

Frequently asked questions

How do you get 5 points with only 4 outputs on the switch?
The ACT2003 has two POF ports: one receives the fiber from the switch, and the other allows the cabling to continue to a fifth point with another converter. This way, one of the switch’s 4 lines becomes 2 connection points.
Will all points run at maximum speed at the same time?
Each fiber line is independent from the switch, so intensive use in one area does not affect the others. Within each point, the converter distributes its bandwidth among the connected devices just like any home switch.
How is it different from the Kit Gold?
The Kit Premium is the top-tier option: it includes the ACT4001 switch to distribute the fiber to up to 5 independent points. If your home needs fewer covered areas, the Kit Gold may be a better fit for your needs and budget.
Do I lose speed compared with my router’s speed?
No. Each fiber line maintains 100% of your router’s speed for up to 50 meters. If your fiber connection is 600 Mbps, each point receives a real 600 Mbps, without the typical loss associated with WiFi or PLC.
Does it work inside my existing electrical conduit?
Yes. The POF cable is 2.2 mm in diameter, much thinner than an Ethernet cable, and flexible. It passes easily through the same conduits already used by your electrical or telephone installation.
Is it difficult to install if I’m not a technician?
It’s the most complete kit in the range, so it takes a little more time than a single-point kit, but it’s still self-installable: each line connects in the same way as the previous ones. The fiber cutters and step-by-step manual are included. If you get stuck, write to us and the Actelser technical team will guide you.
Can I expand to more points later?
Yes. The system is modular: we have expansion packs with additional compatible converters (ACT1001, ACT1003, ACT1002) so you can keep adding points in the future.
What if it doesn’t work in my case?
You have 14 days to return it. And if you have any questions before buying, write to us: we’ll confirm whether your case is compatible before you pay anything.
